New REALTOR members of the association must complete Code of Ethics training when they first join. This course should be completed prior to attending New Member Orientation.Take the Course Now
Existing REALTOR® members must complete 2.5 hours of ethics training, meeting specific learning objectives and criteria, within three-year cycles. The current cycle is from January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2021.
REALTORS® who have completed the required ethics training within a three-year cycle in one association shall not be required to complete any further ethics training for that same training cycle if the REALTOR® becomes or is a member of another association. This is a membership requirement - not a license renewal requirement. Even if you are exempt from CE, you still need to take the training.
The only other exemptions are:
Members that have REALTOR Emeritus status with the National Association of REALTORS.
Members that have the C2EX endorsement. C2EX stands for Commitment to Excellence - the only endorsement provided by the National Association of REALTORS. It's free to take! Make your Commitment to Excellence.
